Felice Borghi

Felice Borghi

Chief of General Surgery Department, Cuneo National Hospital, Italy, from 2001, Dr Borghi graduated in Medicine at the University of Torino in 1986 and completed his residency in general surgery in the same University in 1991. He worked as a staff surgeon at the S. Giovanni Battista Hospital and Evangelic Hospital in Torino. During this period his main training were in colorectal surgery (John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK and Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA) and upper G.I. surgery (St. Luc Hospital, Brussels). Dr. Borghi had many academic assignments during his career and now is Professor at General Surgery School and at the Nursing School, University of Torino. Member of many surgical societies, his main interests are surgical anatomy, functional and oncologic digestive surgery, mini invasive and fast-track surgery which are also the topics of publications, invited reports to scientific meetings and residential courses in his unit. The robotic activity of Dr Borghi began in 2013 and in two years he performed about 200 procedures mainly of oncologic digestive surgery.
